Leo Dellafuente
Born in February 1982 in the city of São Paulo, Dellafuente began his artistic career at the age of 15, writing and drawing comics for various fanzines. Always self-taught, a few years later he began his immersion in the world of street art and acrylic painting on paper and canvas.
In 2006 he created, together with a friend, the 6emeia project, with recognized urban interventions on urban furniture, such as manholes and sewer covers. At the same time, he intensifies his studies, starting a degree in Architecture and Urbanism at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi in 2011. From then on, he explores the most varied supports and techniques, navigating between ink, acrylic, oil, watercolor and the production of engravings on wood and linoleum.
His work has a striking feature, mystery, surrealism wrapped in creativity and sarcasm, imagination used as the wind, which takes and guides him to places still unknown to the vast majority. His work is full of tension, emotion and deep feelings that touch the most attentive eyes and leave footprints and traces for entering a fantastic, playful and dreamlike world.
