Paulo O’Meira

Paulo O’Meira, with his roots in São Paulo, has been working as a visual artist on the scene since 2005. Throughout his career, he has brought colors and dialectics to the national and international scene and has established important partnerships as a member of the collective “Graffiti com Pipoca” and Jardim Miram Arte Clube – JAMAC -, where he deploys his artistic talents as an art educator. Within his solo skills, he works with design, illustration and graffiti, focusing his narratives mainly on urban interventions, where he sustains the themes of frantic paulicéia on spray in order to lead discussion and promote positive changes in the physical space and anonymous appreciators. This great involvement with the co-relationships and anxieties imposed by the metropolis, led him to study Architecture and Urbanism to support and provide a deeper basis for his concerns about integrating art into the public space.
