Survivor Images Workshop with Estefania Gavina

Alê Espaço de Arte announces the Survivor Images Workshop with Estefania Gavina!

The purpose of this workshop is to encourage imagination through experience with pieces of photographs that make up the collection of ACHO – Ordinary History Collections Archive. This archive is intended to house discarded photographs found in the city by a group of recyclable materials collectors.

In this workshop, participants will have a large suitcase with torn photographs at their disposal. The practice will then be carried out through experimental exercises involving the creative possibilities opened up by play and chance. At the end of this workshop, each participant will have adopted a small set of images and created a unique work, taking it home with them.
