Painting Course with Juliana Costa Granja
Alê Espaço de Arte offers a new painting course with artist and educator Juliana Costa Granja. With extensive experience in the area, Juliana proposes a face-to-face course for people interested in learning or improving in composition techniques, application of color theory, different drawing filling techniques such as chalk pastels, watercolors, acrylic and oil painting.
The student will learn strategies for developing artistic drawing and painting on different materials and supports. The objective at the end of the course is for each student to achieve autonomy in designing, composing and applying filling and painting materials.
In a large and airy room, classes will take place once a week on Wednesday afternoons from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm at Rua Califonia 706, Brooklin-SP.
Educator/Artist: Juliana Costa Granja
Born in Santo André, she has lived and worked in greater São Paulo since 2003 with research in Art and Education. She maintains her production for exhibitions, artistic interventions and scenographic projects with poetic references that range from symbolic figures of birth such as eggs, shells and nests to the permanence of a body in society and its memory. She proposes, through different languages such as drawing, painting, object, installation, intervention and photography, to develop series of works that encourage discussion on social, ethnic-racial, gender and interpersonal themes. Specialist in Aesthetics and History of Art from FAINC and Postgraduate in Psychopedagogy from UMESP. She has works in collections at the São Geraldo Abbey Museum and at the UMESP Art and Culture Center. Participated in exhibitions at the Pinacoteca Municipal de São Caetano do Sul (2020/2021), Pinacoteca Municipal de São Bernardo do Campo (2016), Salão de Arte Contemporânea Luiz Sacilotto (2010), Museu Barão de Mauá (2010), Mapa Cultural Paulista ( 2005) and in several Cultural Centers in the state of São Paulo.
Painting Course

Target audience: No prior knowledge of the technique is necessary and can be practiced by different age groups from 16 years of age onwards.
Investment: R$365.00 monthly (basic materials will be offered on the first day of class, afterwards each student must provide the material that comes closest to the technique they wish to use).
